Bali Shangrila Beach Club has started well for 2008 with an excellent list of advanced bookings from both our Members and our Hotel Guests.
2007 saw a considerable increase in our popularity making the Resort the overall highest occupancy in Candi Dasa. This year we plan to build a new bar which guests can sit round and to increase the Restaurant capacity a little to cater for the growing demand for our food and beverage. Our parties have also been very popular and we now offer entertainment most evenings.
Considerable refurbishment of our rooms has been completed with internal and external re-painting and enhancements to our furnishings and fittings. New driveways, parking places and patio areas are finalized. We have also added a large diesel power generator to cater for any periods where we lose main electric supply.
The weddings conducted in 2007 has been an enjoyable part of last the years work which has continue into 2008 with one of our Owners getting married at the Resort, bringing 20 guests for the beachfront ceremony and reception. Shangrila Scuba Divers has been expanded to cater for a significant increase in the number of divers visiting the Resort. The dive center has been re built to allow more room for training divers and to expand the shop facilities. Just e-mail Graeme for information. shangrilascubadivers@yahoo.com
Mr. Grumpy’s, our High Street Bar and Bistro has been re-furbished and we have now included a separate air conditioned office area for customer Internet, Fax, Copying, CD/DVD burning.
Owner exchanges have increased and the Resort has been host to many RCI and Dial an Exchange guests, who have greatly enjoyed their holidays with us.
Our Villa and Apartment sales programme has moved forward with Guest purchases of 3, 6, 9 and 12 month ownership periods. At Bali Shangrila Beach Club, we are all pleased to see the return of our many Members and their Guests plus an increasing number of visitors into Bali generally and within our local region of Karengasem.
